What kind of PA system do I need to get and keep attention in a noisy bar with my music?
I was looking at a Fishman loudbox at guitar center, singing through one mike and playing accoustic guitar into another. The guitar sounded fine -- just what I'd like. But if I tried to put it loud enough it would warp. So I have concluded that what I need is an amp, a mixing board, and some speakers. Please tell me the minimum requirements for the amp and speakers that would do the job.
You might just get by with a more powerful/bigger guitar amp. Granted, buying a PA amp and speakers would prolly sound more pleasing to the ears (more sound without being as loud). I point this out because I have very sensitive ears.
