Is there anyway to fix a chip in my acoustic, Washburn guitar?
Ok so heres the story I'm new guitars and I was stupid enough to be playing with little, ball magnets when I was sitting with my guitar in my lap. (stupid right i know don't remind me)
Anyways, My only question is, is it possible to fix chips in guitars?
Its tiny but noticable on a black guitar
Its true, you will have many dings in that guitar before you're through with it. It gives it personality. It is a quick fix for a shop. It would be just like fixing a ding on a car. add some paint, some clearcoat and call it a day. You can do an acceptable job yourself. Go to your local auto repair shop, pick a paint that matches, then go to menards and use a spray poly. just spray over the spot but move quickly. very, very light coats. if you try to speed up the process, its easier to see. it might take a few coats but be patient, let it dry thoroughly and give it another.
