you have a nylon string guitar (the chord like ones are metal wrapped over nylon). Go to your local music store and ask about acoustic guitar song books, there are literally thousands of them! Ask for some advice and tell them what bands/artists you like.
While there check into some lessons with the guitar teacher. A teacher can show you how to play many songs as well as help you with your guitar technique and even suggest some books to you
