Hanging Guitars at an Angle, Will This Warp My Neck?"?
I have four guitars that I want to hang on my wall, a les paul, telecaster, thunderbird bass, and a Ibanez acoustic. I currently have four of the vertical wall hangers that hang the guitar by the head. Since the hangers pivot, I was thinking about putting a wooden dowel (covered in surgical tubing of course) next to the body so that I can hang them at an angle. I've noticed that all of the diagonal guitar hangers on the market have the neck support at or around the 12th fret. I'm wondering if having the support at the neck, and then a peg down by the body will cause too much stress on the neck and either cause the joints to come lose, or warp the neck. Any thoughts?

No. Most neck warping is NOT side-to-side, but a bow across the fretboard.
It's HIGHLY recommended by experts that if the guitar is to be left unplayed for some time that the strings be LOOSENED to the point where there's no tension remaining to prevent neck war.
