I'm trying to get a Christmas gift for someone and I don't know alot about these but is this (FENDER Starcaster Acoustic Guitar Pack) a good deal and good type of guitar or is it a crappy one that won't sound good?

I think that the guitar is ok. Not the best guitar in the world, but its not terrible. I think that it sounds ok. If your playing like in a band i really dont think that you should look into buying it. But if you just like playing by yourself on your couch or something then that would be a great guitar for you!
