Looking for a good quality beginner acoustic guitar?
Im a 20 year old with plenty of prior music experience. I'm looking for suggestions for a good quality make/model beginner acoustic guitar. I play enough instruments already to know I'm not going to give up after 2 weeks, so I'm ok with spending a few hundred dollars. Any suggestions?
there are so many different models and makes that it is very hard to recommend just one. Guitars are also very different, even within the same model you will find good and bad ones. The best thing you can do is go to about 3 misic stores and pick up a bunch of them. Make sure the neck is comforatble for you and that you can reach around it.
Don't be afraid of going in there and flat out telling somebody you know nothing about them, people in guitar shops are usually pretty cool. Also, don't be intimidated by that 17 year old kid who is really good, every guitar store has at leaest one that just hangs out there.

stay away from the 100 dollar ones, tone is pretty bad on those. look in the 300 range. anything less and you'll be done with it in a few weeks. the better the guitar, the more fun you'll have.
