Help with Chromatic Tuner for Acoustic Guitar?
I have recently bought an acoustic guitar and a KORG CA-1 Chromatic tuner, both new.
I am a beginner player.
When I pluck the E string (thickest), the needle on the tuner goes to 0 and the green light shows.
But on the side, they list the string as something else.
And when I tune it so that it lists the right string, the needle and green don't go to 0.
It happens when I play any string.
Am I only supposed to care about the needle going to 0 and the green light showing?

You need both to happen. The letter on the side tells you what note your playing and the needle shows you whether you're perfectly in tune to that note, or sharp or flat of it. So for the 6th (thickest) string, you should see an E in the corner and the needle in the middle with the green light lit up. The 5th string would be an A in the corner and the green light lit up, and so on through all six strings.
If you're having trouble with the Korg tuner, you can always start off using a pitch pipe.
