What were these specks of light flashing from the sky?
They were like small flashes of blue and purple coloured light zooming towards the ground from the sky.
I only say them for about a minute and a half, I haven't seen anymore now. I just spotted them by chance when I opened my window to see if it was raining (and since its the uk it was).
I don't think it was my eyes deceiving me, what is it though, could it be fragments of debris entering the earth from space and burning up in the atmosphere, like kind of a mini meteor shower? Or could it have something to do with what causes aurora borealis?
where I live is at 55 degrees north if this helps.
