Is my guitar acoustic or classical and does it matter?

The website calls it acoustic, but many of the features make it seem like its a classical guitar:
it has a rather wide fretboard, no end pin, and no pick guard
although it does have both steel and nylon strings (3 of each)
if it is indeed a classical guitar, can it still be played the same way as an acoustic (ie with a pick) and can I install an endpin to facilate strap usage?

Acoustic guitars are either classical or steel string. Yours is a mostly classical--the slotted headboard, the wide fingerboard, and the nylon strings indicate classical. You can add the end pin, but (if oyu thought about doing this) adding a pick guard will adversely affect the tone. 90% of the sound comes from the top (the "table") and adding a guard will dampen or change the tone. You can play it any way you want, but wider srtings make strumming less efficient, and the tone of nylon strings is less cutting, so it won't carry as well if you play it in a band.
