La Patrie Concert Left-Handed Classical Guitar Natural $519 The La Patrie Classical Left-handed Guitar has a solid cedar top, mahogany laminate back & sides, mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, rosewood bridge with a compensated saddle, gold "lyra" style tuners with pearloid buttons, and semi-gloss satin finish. question about thumb position on classical guitar position?
ok i like to lay my guitar horizontally on my legs and play but now i wanna try to put my guitar in the right classical position where its 45 degrees diagonally, however my left hand thumb (im right handed, pluck strings with right hand) gets tired and sore when i play
is it because i put too much pressure against the neck? how am i suppose to position it
also is the right forearm that lays on the guitar while in that position suppose to be going numb because i feel the guitar cut off my blood flow lol
oldest problem in the book, hold the guitar where you feel comfortable with it, thumb to the centre of the neck for a reason, Jimmy got away with running the neck in the crotch of his hand because he could, your not Mr. Page so learn the correct way. it will make chord transition easier in the long run, as you progress you can pick up your bad habits and play it with your teeth for all we care,
