anyone know about taylor guitars?
I'm debating between two acoustic guitars; they are both Taylors of course!
One is a Baby Taylor, but its the Big Baby Taylor (size 15/16). It is a dreadnought with solid sitka spruce and sapele laminate for back and sides for $459. This isn't so bad because im smaller due to I'm a girl.
On the other hand, there's the dreadnought acoustic with solid sitka spruce and sapele laminate for back and sides. This is for $649. They both include gig bags, but they don't feature pickups. What do you think?
Taylor guitars are awesome. They sound great and are very well built. One will last you a lifetime if you keep it. I have a Taylor 214 and I love it. I installed a condenser pickup in it. You don't have to have a pickup though. Just get a good microphone and place it in front of the guitar if you need to be amplified through a sound system. Good luck with your choice.
