Polyfoam Guitar Cases vs. Hardshell Cases?
I am looking into purchasing a case for my dreadnought body electric-acoustic guitar. i am concerned for the protection of my guitar, as i payed alot of hard-earned money for it. the natural choice would be a hardshell, but i saw a $200 polyfoam wolfpak case on sale for $100. is this equal durability? how will this hold up against normal wear and tear? what are the advantages/disadvantages of a polyfoam over a hardshell? thanks alot!
i would most likely be taking it to and from school for worship. there is also a small possibility of taking it on a plane for a missions trip.
it depends on where you plan on taking your guitar. the rougher the environments the more likely you'll need a hard shell over a polyfoam.
