Johnny Cash Guitar with decals - where can I find it?
I used to see it EVERYWHERE in catalogs. I beileve it would be a Gibson or Epiphone, doubt it was a Martin.
But what was really unique is that on the fretboard between the 12-15th frets there was a decal of a dollarbill like Cash used to simulate a snare drum. And instead of regular fret markings, his signature sprawled out across the fretboard.
There's actually a shot of it in "Walk the Line" which jogged my memory, look at the tail end of the "I Walk the Line" sequence.
I used to see it in every damn catalog, now google and Musiciansfriend.com can't find it...Did I imagine it or what?
