Which is the better Martin Guitar?
I'm looking at three different Acoustic/Electric guitars, and want to know which is best of the three. They are:
000CX1E, DCME, and 00CXAEblack
I'm going to buy my boyfriend one for his birthday , a surprise, and these are the three I know he looked at recently. I would just buy the most expensive assuming you get what you pay for but I'm sure that that 'rule' applies to guitars...

Depends on what you want out of your guitar in terms of wood configuration and construction. I would go for the DCME for it has what I want, a mellow sound, onboard pickups and a cutaway. It retails for $1500 along those lines.
It's a lot of money though, which ever Martin you get for him, he'll appreciate it for they're very expensive!
