I have a new Ovation Celebrity guitar. Which type of string should I use?
I have a new Ovation but don't know what kind of strings to use. I don't want super-fancy strings, and given Ovation's unique qualities, I imagine I need a particular type of string.
I recommend Elixer Nanoweb mediums--.013-.056. on any acoustic guitar. They are smooth, don't squeek while playing, and last for months. They remain clear and crisp throughout the life of the strings.
The downside is they are expensive--$15 a set, but worth it.
