How do I stop my ukulele from buzzing when I strum?
I have an Ovation Applause Ukulele and it's been buzzing ever since I first got it. Just this week I got the strings changed thinking it would solve the problem but it still buzzes when I strum. For example I can never play the Bb note without it buzzing. How do I fix this?
the neck is probably just bowed. if you're lucky, it's only bowed and not double bowed. if it's double bowed, you'll have to have the frets filed down. I've had that happen, it's pretty pricey. DO NOT try to fix it yourself if you don't know what you're doing. i've seen a lot of instruments completely messed up beyond repair because of that. be sure to take it to a professional. someone who's done it many times. have them see what's wrong and fix it.
