Do acoustic-electric guitars have a narrower fretboard than acoustic guitars?
I started playin my dad's acoustic a couple weeks ago, i really love it and Im thinkin of getting myself an acoustic-electric for christmas/birthday. Is it harder to play them due to narrower fretboard? Which one would you recommend for around 400 bucks? Im looking at stuff like Epiphone SST Studio, EJ-200CE or Ovation Celebrity CC44 or Ibanez AEL10E. I would appreciate any help.

Out of the ones you listed, I like the ovations the best. They are a long-running company that has really top-notch sound when plugged in. The only thing you might need to get used to is the rounded back because it might be less comfortable to play sitting down.
THE MOST IMPORTANT AND #1 RULE OF BUYING AN INSTRUMENT is to ACTUALLY play the specific one you are going to purchase. Even with huge companies, you can only get so much quality control out of things carved from wood. Buying online generally isn't smart unless you have a warranty.
