why is my stainless steel pan changing color?
so my cousin bought a pan set b/c i love to cook. unfortunatly, they were pretty cheap(50) and that was for a set of like 20. we already have calpholon or whatever, they are coated for nonstick, but i dont like them and prefer ss. but they have swirly colors of like blue and purple. can someone please tell me how to fix it, or prevent the rest from doing that! thank you!
sorry you're stuck. the grade of stainless steel you're working with is very low ... this means it's "stainless" properties are marginal. this is going to happen. you're only hope is to polish it off, not by scrubbing, but by polishing with a metal polish. you can find this stuff at most stores.
