Im considering buying a Taylor Acoustic?
Well I'v loved Taylor Acoustics ever since I picked one up at my local Guitar Center. I was playing a custom that some one ordered but then didnt buy, it was going for $1,100. It sounded great. But its gone.
Im looking into buying one now and I know they come in the 100-900 series. (Im looking for a 6 string pref dreadnought) i dont think i can go over 1000 bucks, so what would be the best choice, i think the 100 and 200 series are the only ones they make under a grand, im looking into buying it from guitar center not online because all guitars sound different and i have learned not to buy a guitar over 500 bucks offline.
I'm looking for input from people that own a Taylor.
is it worth it buying the 100-200 series or are they crap? what series is best bang for the buck
I don't own a Taylor, but I've worked on several of them, and I can tell you that I haven't seen a bad Taylor yet, however I would suggest buying from a locally owned dealer, unless Guitar Center is the only choice you have. They are kind of like the Walmart of the music world. They handle some great products, but if you had a warranty issue, be prepared to take care of it yourself.
