I have a budget of 250 dollars. What is the best guitar i can get at the price?
electric of course. i play Megadeth, Alice In Chains, Led Zeppelin and ACDC mostly and others that are similar to one or the other of these. guitar needs to be good but budget i know is very limiting. So then whats the best at this price?

how about this? exceeds the budget but i think i can get an extra 50 dollars from somewhere.
For that type of music, I would personally get a Jackson and their are quite a few for sale on e-bay.
I own an old '63 Gibson Les Paul and had purchases a second hand Jackson for $200. Beautiful guitar and awesome fingerboard, low action. It has 24 frets and active electonics. It has a nice floyd rose on it so the intonation is always perfect esepcially on the Jackson.
It even came with a hardshell case.....This guitar has a good resale value.
Second choice is an Epiphone Les Paul . The sad think on Gibson is that they have no whammy bar except the SG which is off-balanced at the neck.
