How do you know how much your electric guitar is worth?
I got a electric guitar yesterday for free its a Washburn, and I can't find it on the website. Its a square shape, and its a Bud Light guitar, and its in good shape but i know its pretty old. Is there a website i can go to to find it? or where can i find a serial code on it?? Thanks
Well no duh its worth what they bought it for I could have told my self that... The person before me got it somewhere cause some one gave it to him...
You can get it appraised at guitar stores. They're really good at doing doing that, because they'll often offer you 75% of it. If you have a store called Music-Go-Round anywhere near you, that's the place to do it.
Don't take it to a pawn-shop. They won't ever give you a good answer.
And also, usually the manufacturer has an option on their site (in your case, Washburn) that will let you look up a guitar by Serial Number, which is traditionally on the back of the headstock. Also, you can try to contact somebody on the site and ask them what they can do.
