What guitar brand is good for finger-picking and stage?
I am looking to buy a guitar (I've already got a Tacoma12 string, but that is no good for picking/finger-style) and I would like one that is not super large, sounds good unplugged andplugged and that can be used for home and stage. I am into country music and I also play worship songs at my church, so it needs to be an accoustic/electric. If you have any suggestions that would be great. (I am thinking of getting a Ovation Celebrty CC44 or a Takamine EG440c, so tell me what you think about those as well). Thanks!
If you're looking for an acoustic-electric guitar for fingerstyle then you need to make sure it has a 1 3/4" nut. Some people like Ovations but I'm not one of them. Between the two you listed I would recommend the Tak but I've never actually played it. I'd suggest spending more money and getting a Taylor or a Martin.
