Now the company has put that wealth of experience into producing some of the finest acoustic-electric bass guitars the industry has ever seen. Takamine's dedication to the art and craft of guitar-making is plainly evident in the G Series Left-Handed EGB2S Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Bass.Built on a jumbo design, the large, deep body of the Takamine bass guitar creates a boomy resonating chamber and soundboard, which translates into a bold sound, not often found in an acoustic-electric bass crossover. The maple neck and rosewood fretboard add to this clarity, while the symmetrical neck shape and 1-3/4" nut width provide comfort for intricate movements along the 21 frets of the Takamine bass. Chrome tuners offer precise tuning from song to song and the cutaway on the upper bout provides range when accessing the upper-register notes. The Takamine EGB2S bass's other appointments include chrome hardware, striking white bridge, and a gloss finish to round out the package. At the heart of this Takamine G NEX acoustic bass is an impressive electronics system, letting you amplify your sound with intuitive frequency controls. what would be a better acoustic?
i play rock and metal and i was looking at acoustic electric guitars and i dont have a huge budget + being a lefty makes it impossible to go to a local shop and try out a guitar so which of these two would b better for me
http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Takamine-G-Series-340CLH-LeftHanded-AcousticElectric-Guitar?sku=516429
http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-AEL10LE-LeftHanded-AcousticElectric-Guitar-with-Onboard-Tuner?sku=519997
my local shops have left handed guitars but one 2 have only 1 regular $100 acoustic and maybe a strat knock off and my favorite shop near me has 4 electrics 1 bass and 0 acoustic/acoustic-electrics
there both nice guitars, the Takamine will have a brighter tone where as the Ibanez will have a better low end tone, I've played both and have an older Ibanez PF which I like just fine, not as much as my Guild but you get the picture, so I guess it's a matter preference
