I love the sound, and I love those memories.Recalling how the compact, portable Baby was a great songwriting tool for a girl on the go, Swift in turn wanted to encourage others to express their feelings through music, which led to the development of her signature model Taylor Swift Baby Taylor (TSBT).I wanted to share my passion for playing guitar with my fans, she says. Taylor 2012 214 Rosewood Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar Natural $799 Taylor's 2012 214 Rosewood/Spruce Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar features a desirable gloss finish that you'll take a shine to. The Grand Auditorium was the first guitar shape designed from scratch by Bob Taylor. It was unveiled to commemorate the company's 20th Anniversary in 1994, and since then it has more than lived up to its promise. Although the GA guitar has the width and depth of a dreadnought, its narrower waist gives it the appearance of a smaller instrument, adds treble "zing" across the guitar's tonal spectrum, sharpens the definition of individual notes, and also enables it to rest comfortably in the lap. Because Taylor removes mass from the width of the GA's braces, the guitar top moves faster, resulting in a snappy, bell-like tone. The Taylor GA acoustic guitar is designed to be a strong fingerpicking guitar that also can handle medium strumming, and is exceptionally versatile. The Taylor 214 acoustic guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top, a top-quality wood, known for its balanced tone and clarity. The Indian rosewood back and sides, also premiere wood, produces rich, booming sound, with the perfect element of projection. The 25-1/2" scale, 1-11/16" nut width, and 15" radius adds comfort for intricate movements up and down the ebony fretboard. The NT neck joint fits into a specially cut pocket in the body of the Taylor acoustic guitar. The frets are supported equally by the neck, creating a more stable playing surface, one that is continually straight, from the bottom to the top of the neck. The mahogany neck is strong and provides added presence and clarity in the tone, and the ebony bridge and fretboard bring out lasting sustain. Taylor tuners keep the acoustic guitar in precise tuning and chrome hardware add an extra sleek look to this already stunning offering from Taylor.Excellent sound across the full tonal spectrumBeautiful gloss finish over solid spruce topMahogany neck with smooth ebony fretboardIncludes Taylor gig bag |

Such is the case with sapele laminate, in which Taylor uses interior and exterior veneers of sapele with a filler layer between them. One of the benefits of laminates for guitars is extra resilience in the face of fluctuating humidity conditions. This comes in handy for guitars like the GS Mini and Baby Taylor models, which are travel-friendly guitars that may be more directly exposed to different environments. Taylor Big Baby guitar on a plane?
In a month I am traveling to tennessee from RI. I want to bring my Taylor Big Baby guitar with me. I have already checked the airline policies and the guitar is small enough to take as a carry on and fits in the over head compartments. Is it safe to bring the guiar on the plane in just its gig bag? Should i loosen the strings. Taylors websites says its best to leave them as is. Should I buy a flight case?
Yes....it will be fine, and you don't have to worry about loosing you strings.
But.....if you have a "Taylor", I would invest in a hardshell case, it will be so much better protected.
Man.....a girl....with a Taylor.....that's kinda hot:)
