What does a decent acoustic guitar cost?
I want to start playing. I dont have interest in joining a band at all so i dont need a top of the line guitar, but i dont want a cheapo either. what is the average price for a decent acoustic guitar, or what brand?
It can really vary my friend. Yamaha's are OK, if you want something like that, you know..just a fool around guitar, perhaps somewhere in the low hundreds. If you want something a notch above that, look at some epiphones and takamines, you can probaly find some for around $500. So ya, around $500 for a good quality acoustic. A extremely good acoustic can go up to $15,000!! IT'S CRAZY. Avoid gibson and martin, not because they are bad (those are actually the two best brands out there), but merely because their prices are outrageous!
